Christian Education - Adults
Unless noted, our Sunday School classes begin at 9 AM (year-round)
Class ages are approximate and flexible - any adult is welcome to join any adult class.
Sophia's Circle Reading Group
 "Sophia," an Old Testament name for God's Wisdom, is the inspiration for this informal reading group and book study which meets the third Wednesday of every month at 7 PM to explore a current book using the insight of our faith to shape our discussions. Click here for more information.

Weekly Adult Bible Study
Tuesdays, 2 PM & 7 PM

Paul Class (approx. ages 60 & up): This class uses a variety of materials and videos to stimulate thinking and discussion. The Bible is the basis for study and a source of guidance in discussion of problems and concerns in today's world. This class holds social events four times a year and works on annual charitable projects. The Paul Class meets in the living room of the Parsonage Annex.
Contemporary Class (approx. ages 45 - 60): Current issues that affect our community and the world are the beginnings for discussion and study with scripture as the foundation for problem solving. Book studies on timely subjects are included in the materials used during the year. The Contemporary class meets in the Library of the Parsonage Annex. Currently studying: "How Should We Then Live?" through May. All are welcome.
AAWOL (Anxiously AWaiting Our Lord) Class (adults of any age welcome): During book studies, this class discusses concepts and methods as they explore the struggles and questions involved in our faith journeys. The AAWOL Class meets in the Sonshine Room. All are welcome to join us.

College Age/Young Adult Class (ages 18 - 24): Discussion centers around current issues and how they apply to our faith in the unique life state that college students and recent graduates experience. All area college students and young adults are welcome. NOTE: If you are interested in this class, please let Rev. Kate know, as it is not currently meeting. You are more than welcome to come on Sunday mornings to our AAWOL class.
